Worst edge cases that nobody talks about [v5]

There is a lot of conflicting advice online and most of it is from 2019. Spent the last few weekends digging into this and the deeper I go the more questions I have. Long-time lurker, first-time poster.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but here we go. Not sure if this is the right place to ask, mods please remove if it is not. Been thinking about this for a while and curious what the community thinks.

There is a lot of conflicting advice online and most of it is from 2019. For context, I am working with a pretty modest budget so high-end suggestions probably will not land. The trade-offs here are not obvious to me and I keep flip-flopping.
