Weekly discussion: gear recommendations after a year
There is a lot of conflicting advice online and most of it is from 2019. Long-time lurker, first-time poster.
The trade-offs here are not obvious to me and I keep flip-flopping. For context, I am working with a pretty modest budget so high-end suggestions probably will not land.

Posting from a throwaway because I do not want this attached to my main. I tried this last year and it did not work for me — your mileage may vary.
Have you tried the alternative? It is roughly half the price and 80% as good. Lol no. Took me a year to figure this out the hard way.
