Just started a show with 8 seasons. I have made a terrible mistake and I cannot turn back.

It is 11 PM. I said 'one episode' four hours ago. My partner is asleep. The show is fine. Not great. I am committed now. This is my life. Season 3, episode 7. Send snacks.

The sunk cost fallacy is not a fallacy if you have already invested 40 hours. Then it is a lifestyle.

I once finished a 12-season show I hated because I needed to know if it got better. It did not. I am still angry.

'One episode' is the biggest lie humans tell themselves, after 'I will start my diet Monday' and 'the WiFi will be better in the other room.'
