Movie runtime is 3.5 hours. The plot is 'man sad.' Critics call it 'a masterpiece.' I call it 'a nap.'
I paid $18 to watch a man stare out a window for 40 minutes. The cinematography was beautiful. The seat was comfortable. I slept through the middle hour and woke up for the sad ending. 5 stars.

Arthouse films are just expensive napping opportunities with better lighting. This is not a criticism.
I watched a 4-hour movie about wheat farming. It won awards. I learned nothing about wheat and everything about my own patience.
Critics: 'A searing meditation on existence.' Me: 'The chairs reclined and I had popcorn.' Same movie, different experience. Both valid.
